Should women be allowed to choose what they wear? We think yes. PETA thinks no—and it is lobbying California with the first step of its agenda.
Currently, lawmakers are considering a bill to ban the sale of fur-trimmed winter coats and other garments that contain fur. PETA is pushing this fur ban. PETA also opposes wool, cashmere, leather, and silk, and it will seek to restrict these clothing choices next.
And after that? PETA opposes everything from your right to enjoy a hamburger to your right to own a pet.
